CANADIAN DAILY DIGEST ,MAY 26 2016

On October 16th, 2003, the leaders of the Canadian Reform Conservative Alliance and the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada announced an agreement-in-principle to unite under a new political banner. On December 7, 2015  the Conservative Party of Canada was registered.

Members of both these parties brought "legacies" with them.

Progressive Conservatives generally had seen their Party as working toward balancing fiscal responsibility with social progress,

Reformers believed in decision making flowing upward from their Ridings.

Consider what you view will be three lasting "legacies" seen as those of Stephen Harper's years as Prime Minister of Canada.

Compare them to your beliefs prior to the merging

Do so, please, prior to reading of articles relating to the Conservative Party Convention.

I am most interested in your thoughts.
